Luxury Trip Plan

28th January:
Arrival in Zurich
Fly direct from Manchester to Zurich, landing just after midday. After checking into your hotel, you’ll have the afternoon to explore Zurich’s beautifully preserved Old Town, full of cobbled streets, artisan shops and rich medieval history. As the sun sets over Lake Zurich, settle in for dinner at one of the city’s lakeside restaurants. Laid-back, elegant and a perfect introduction to Swiss hospitality.

29th January:
St. Moritz Bound
Catch the early train to St. Moritz, the jewel of the Swiss Alps. Upon arrival a private transfer will whisk you to your hotel. Once you've dropped your bags, head straight for the mountains. You’ll take the ski lift up to a panoramic alpine restaurant for an afternoon of après-ski energy, think fondue, hot glühwein, live music and breathtaking views. Return to the hotel for a steam and a swim before freshening up for dinner.

30th January:
The ICE: Day One
Today, St. Moritz plays host to the spectacle that is THE ICE, held directly on the town’s frozen lake. Just a short walk from your hotel, this is a day of elegance and adrenaline.
VIP access includes a gourmet lunch and the chance to get up close with some of the world’s rarest and most beautiful vintage cars. After the event, enjoy cocktails at the iconic Badrutt’s Palace Hotel before dining at one of St. Moritz’s legendary restaurants.

31st January:
THE ICE: Day Two
The second day of THE ICE is all about racing and celebration, vintage cars speeding across the ice, awards for best in show, and another chance to soak up the magic of this unique winter event.
Spend the afternoon enjoying your hotel’s amenities or strolling through St. Moritz. That evening, enjoy pre-dinner drinks before another standout meal at one of the region’s most revered fine dining spots.
If you managed to brush shoulders with the right people at the event who knows you just might get an invite to THE worlds most exclusive private members club, the elusive Dracula Club, draped in history and secrets the world would die to know, it’s a strictly 'who you know' kind of gig way beyond my powers!

1st February:
Explore St. Moritz
Today is yours to enjoy St. Moritz and its surroundings at your own pace. You could walk over to witness the daring runs on the world-famous Cresta Run, take a short train ride and hike out to the awe-inspiring Morteratsch Glacier, or relax with a spa day in nearby Pontresina, a hidden gem of Alpine architecture and wellness.
If you’re after a touch of fun and adrenaline, the local toboggan run is surprisingly thrilling and offers amazing valley views. Cap off your last night in the Alps with a warm and cosy meal in a traditional Swiss chalet.

2nd February:
Bernina Express to Milan
It’s time to journey south. Board the world-famous Bernina Express, a scenic train unlike any other. Watch the Alps unfold from your first-class seat as you pass frozen lakes, towering viaducts and UNESCO heritage landscapes on your way into Italy.
Once in Milan, take a slow evening walk through the heart of the city, past the Duomo, the glittering Galleria, and into Brera for a stylish but casual dinner.

3rd February:
Milan at Leisure
Spend the day exploring Milan’s cultural and fashion scene. You might wander through the boutiques of Montenapoleone, tour Da Vinci’s Last Supper (with advance booking), or simply soak in the Milanese atmosphere with an espresso at Marchesi.
That evening, if you’re in the mood, the ballet school of the world-famous La Scala theatre will be performing, a fittingly grand finale to your journey.

4th February:
Return to Manchester
Your return flight from Milan departs at 11am, giving you just enough time for one last cappuccino before heading home, filled with memories, stories and a suitcase that’s probably a little heavier than when you arrived.
