Option 1:
Slow, Scenic & Rooted in Tradition
Locations: Ostuni (8 nights) + Basilicata (5 nights)

This option is ideal for those who want a slower pace with plenty of time to settle into each place. You’ll spend a full week soaking up the beauty of Ostuni and its surrounding towns before heading into Basilicata to stay in a traditional Borgo, you will have individual small houses within the Borgo but share a communal pool and have the on site Restaurant, this encourages you to take a deeper dive into countryside living and cultural heritage.
It blends relaxing villa days with carefully chosen day trips, from wine tastings and cliff diving to quiet spa afternoons and sunset dinners in olive groves.
You’ll finish the trip at a historic Borgo and then move on to Matera for an unforgettable final stay in one of Italy’s most unique towns.
Ostuni (8 nights)
Day 1:
Arrive, settle into your villa, and enjoy a relaxed dinner in Ostuni.
Day 2:
Spend the morning exploring Ostuni’s historic streets. Lunch in town, then unwind at a nearby beach. Dinner back at the villa.
Day 3:
Take the train to Monopoli for a cultural exhibition in the morning. In the afternoon, hop over to Polignano a Mare for a wine tasting, then train back to Ostuni.
Day 4:
Relax at the villa or the beach during the day. In the evening, head to Alberobello for an aperitivo, followed by dinner in Locorotondo.
Day 5:
Morning at leisure, then train or drive to Lecce in the afternoon to explore churches and enjoy a traditional meal, perhaps even a Michelin dinner.
Day 6:
Spend the day at the villa with optional yoga, spa treatments, or massages. Consider hiring a private chef for an in-villa dinner.
Day 7:
Morning free to relax, then a day trip to Otranto for swimming, cliff diving, or a boat tour along the west coast caves.
Day 8:

Basilicata (5 nights)
Day 9:
Check in to the Borgo, three separate apartments with a shared pool, set in a peaceful agricultural estate. Relax, bike around the grounds, and enjoy dinner at the Borgo.
Day 10:
Take it slow in the morning, then enjoy an afternoon wine tasting nearby.
Day 11:
Adventure day, choose between zip-lining in the national park or a scenic day trip to Maratea.
Day 12:
Head to Taranto for lunch and explore, then return to the Borgo for a quiet evening.
Day 13:
Travel to Matera and check in to hotel. Explore Matera’s ancient streets, enjoy sunset cocktails and choose between a Michelin dinner or a private dinner in a 13th-century chapel.
Day 14:
Explore Brindisi before your flight home.

Lecce (5 nights)
Day 1:

Day 3:
Head to Otranto for a beach day and cliff diving. Stay for a sunset boat cruise to explore the caves along the coast.
Day 4:
Beach day near Gallipoli or Nardò, both perfect for a laid-back seaside lunch. Return to the villa for a relaxed evening or venture out for dinner in town.
Day 5:
Unwind with a villa day. In the evening, enjoy sunset cocktails at Patria Palace’s rooftop followed by a special Michelin-starred dinner in Lecce.
Ostuni (7-8 nights)
Day 6:
Move on to Ostuni and settle into your villa. Enjoy dinner at home and take in the countryside views.
Day 7:
Morning visit to Alberobello to explore the famous trulli houses. Stay for lunch, then spend the evening exploring Ostuni’s old town.
Day 8:

This itinerary is designed for those who want to experience the absolute best of southern Italy, combining culture, coast, and true seclusion.
You’ll begin with a week split between the whitewashed beauty of Ostuni and the dramatic caves of Matera, with plenty of time for food, beaches, and historic towns. Then, you’ll continue south to Maratea for a week in a private seaside villa, perfect for swimming, hiking and relaxing in one of Italy’s most under-the-radar coastal areas.

Day 3:
Morning trip to Alberobello to see the famous trulli houses, followed by lunch at one of our favourite local restaurants. Spend the afternoon at the beach or back at the villa for downtime.
Day 4:
Take the train to Monopoli for sightseeing, then hop over to Polignano a Mare for a wine tasting and an evening aperitivo. Return to Ostuni by train.
Day 5:
Relax at the villa during the day, then head to Lecce for an afternoon and evening exploring. Sunset cocktails followed by a Michelin dinner in Lecce.
Day 6:
Day trip to Otranto for cliff diving and swimming, followed by a boat trip through the sea caves on the coast. Return to Ostuni for the evening.
